Today I decided it is the perfect day to start a blog. The weather outside is a typical rainy, dreary Louisiana winter day. A day most conducive to avoiding all forms of housework. Ethel is hard at work as I sit at the keyboard. I'll tell you about Ethel a little later.

On the other hand it is the perfect time as one of The Edwards Two (Nita), I felt it my duty to try and document our journey into "grandparenthood"! Lesley and Tim are due to introduce us to "Baby Boy" Anderson the later part of February. Prior to finding out that the grandchild was on the way, I had already decided that I (Nita) was going to be visiting San Francisco every three months. Now that "Baby Boy" is on the way I have changed my travel plans. I now plan to visit every two months - ready or not!!

So, I hope you will bear with me as I post about our adventures ahead and share your thoughts along the way.
